Richard Stubbs

Richard specialises in resolving business, property and employment disputes. He is an ADR Group Accredited Civil and Commercial Mediator, and his mediation practice reflects the broad range of work he undertakes as counsel.

His practice covers commercial litigation, chancery, insolvency, property disputes, inheritance and trust matters, professional negligence, consumer disputes and employment law. He is also regularly instructed in restraint of trade matters, including cases involving confidential information, restrictive covenants and injunctive relief. Richard acts for individuals, businesses, large corporates, public bodies, NHS Trusts, local authorities and unions.

Richard is a Recorder and has served on the Attorney General’s Panel of Counsel for many years, now as a member of the Regional A Panel. He is also Deputy Head of Trinity Chambers.

Alongside his civil and employment practice, Richard has experience in sports-related disputes and regulatory hearings, including arbitrations before sporting bodies. He is a General Appeal Panel Member of The FA Judicial Panel and also sits on a number of other sports disciplinary panels.

Richard is regularly recommended in the legal directories for his advocacy, client handling and practical advice.
